M.K. Čiurlionis, the famous painter, writer and composer, expressed the beauty of Lithuania with majestic colours and dreamy melodies. Visiting Lithuania you don‘t have to feel sad to leave the rural parts of the country, because the architectural greatness found in the cities won‘t let you down. Among the most beautiful buildings are St. Anne‘s Church, which, according to the legend, fascinated Napoleon so much that he wanted to take it with him when he came to Lithuania with his army in 1812. The Cathedral, 326.5m high Vilnius Television Tower, Trakai Castle, Gediminas tower – these are just a few of them. Also, Lithuania is famous for basketball – our second religion and biggest passion. It seems that the modern Lithuanian men fight in the basketball battlefield and we support them the best we can!

All in all, Lithuania is a country to see, not to read about.
